David grew up in Brighton, England. He attended university at Arizona State and earned a B.S in Finance. Upon graduating in 1987 he worked as a stockbroker in Scottsdale, Arizona.
In his formative market years, David was a disciple of the Benjamin Graham approach to value investing. Over the years, experience taught him the value of timing his fundamental approach using technical analysis. David's early technical influence was in point and figure methodology, later W.D Gann's study of geometrical and numerical relationships to market timing, and ultimately to the study of moving averages and how they effect market behavior.
David worked for several years in the mid 90's as a market maker of small regional stocks listed on NASDAQ. Towards the end of the decade David became a managing partner of Lindzon Capital, a Phoenix based hedge fun that experienced triple digit growth under his stewardship.
Today, David is managing director of Sunningdale Partners, and has offices in Miami and Philadelphia.
